Invader
Re: Invader
Yes it was nailed down and punched and filled, but I have screwed it down this time and counter sank the heads ready for the putty. It will look the same as was built.
Re: Invader
Centre strip up the middle of the deck has been fitted but not brought down flush or screwed down yet . they have to be counter sunk and plugged. This is how it was done originally with timber plugs, tomorrow the side deck strips will be screwed down as today I have sealed the edges that butt up the cockpit rails and the butt join in the deck with two coats of varnish to stop any water seepage that some times happen.
Re: Invader
Tonight I got the last two bridge beams covered with the deck ply , The hatch that covers the front dickie seat has been made and fitted with ply and matching timber strip.
As I'm working this week I will have to find time to start on the trim around the edges of the cockpits and engine bay.

Re: Invader
Looks great.
My only other comment is "Oh, the luxury of a shed with walls!"
Cheers
