I was given this badge the other day. It's in mint condition. Actually made in Melbourne, so probably harks back to when the boat was out here.

There was a guy in the VSBC called Ron Simpson who was a prominent jeweller in Melbourne and amongst other things he produced these badges. I've got a silver ingot on a neck chain that I've never worn, simply because I don't live on the Gold Coast.

That's the name on the back Bob - "R Simpson, Melb".

It's not silver though. Looking at it, probably only gold.
