Looking sensational Chris. Fitting the engine is a defining moment. Keep at it.

Ahoy all!
Been busy hence no posts for a while, sadly Torea is taking longer than expected and will not be making the journey to Goolwa.
However Stuart the fat pigeon has offered one of his boats for me to take, but I may have picked the wrong one! We had a trial run today at New Norfolk with new member Brent "the blow fly" Taking the Bug, Old Flame a 12 foot skiff with a 4 cylinder 2 litre Escort motor and Jupiter.
The Bug and Old Flame were faultless, Jupiter whilst keeping the prop this time just would not get up and go, motor ran well but prop getting to much air or ?
Took plenty of photos and will post these up as time allows for your viewing pleasure. A classic re-occurring statement by first time driver of a skiff, Brent "the blow fly" I want one!
I thought taking Jupiter would save towing on Ferry and to Goolwa but not sure the fat pigeon will have time to get it going right by then?
For you Hydro lovers you should seriously get on his case to take the Bug and work out a way of getting Old Flame on my ute tray/roof alah Dave Pagano style, they are seriously two fun boats that actually float and go, thanks Stuart for the opportunity!
To be continued from the Captain, cheers.

Re: A Tasmanian experience
As promised the next to follow will be a series of photos of Stuart the fat pigeon finally getting 3 of his boats out on the water and letting me and Brent "the Blow Fly" play with them.
The first 3 photos possibly need no explaining? Other than Stuart pretending to know what he is doing and the fact he was very lucky that his pit crew, advisors, engineers, general run around dogs bodies, motivators and personal managers where appropriately dressed and did not have to worry about getting their designer jeans and shoes wet!

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Toy number one ... The Bug! Forgot to mention in the first photo, the boys noticed a flock of pigeons flying by, Stuart thought it was a good omen but Brent said they were seagulls?

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Toy number two, 10 foot Hydro Jupiter, the only lemon of the day, it floated, the motor ran well but today was the day we should not of worried about the split pin! Note last photo! The prop would not bite and it did not go like it should!
