So far it looks like minor head gasket failure, and the exhaust valves hitting the pistons. Head gasket issues aren't a surprise here, but the valves hitting pistons is a development. None are bent, and the piston heights are ok, so I need to have a look at the adjustable cam sprocket as I think it may have slipped i.e. cam timing is too far retarded.
