If an unusual location for Boating has popped up ,it has probably been in the USA:
World Fair Seattle 1962.

Not in a Boat, interesting concept though.

Green trim was fairly standard it appears.

When restoring your Lewis it's hard to go past the original colours and timber selections. This pic shows a totally unmolested Frank Lewis finish that could be used as a guide for a Restorer. ( This was one of the late Clem Kings Lewis fleet )

RE: Thunda Babe Going very well, will be interesting to see what the bottom lines do to the Hulls ride. Although close copy of the old, the beauty of wood is there will be differences. May yet see 70mph ??

The Builder I watched the most fitted Ribs inside Hull before it was released from Forms. Some Ribs were "Boiled" in certain Ship Yards.
