After looking at My "Y" block which has to be rebuilt, I could not pass this up! Will go and pick up this weekend.

Great pick up James. Engine work looks superb and with some good work done on hull you are way in front. welcome to weatherboard world! They all leak, some more than others!
Weatherboard men don't mind wet feet.

I acquired a clinker ski boat a couple of years ago and have been collecting parts to build since. the hull is only good to use as a template with some imagination, and I was going to build from scratch in clinker/epoxy/ply. I have a 272 Y block and have also been collecting some bits for it's rebuild but have not commited to dumping the $'s into it yet and starting. I also want to be able to swap engines between my current bondwood and the clinker.

Pryce engines did the machine work on my ford flathead and I could not be happier with them, so am confident in the work they have done to this engine.

Will probably just get used to the leaky boat thing, but currently when I see an excessive amount of water in the bilge of my bondwood I go searching.

You Serious! Will I really need a bilge pump?
