This looks as though it could have started life as a Formula Ford hydro... something like Hobo? Just a hunch.

Good call on Ruff Nut - didn't think of that boat. It's currently at $2k which is a steal.... if I had a bigger shed I'd be divorced!

It is a steel I have no room either we are currently building a ply Jones design 1.6 hydro similar to Steve Scotts old boat but wider we have a 56 inch airtrap enclosed cupsule air system and a canard but wont be finished for about 8 months its a huge job but will be worth it photos are on facebook TIMES R TUFF 1.6 LITRE OZ LITE RACE TEAM if anyone is interested so I have no time this year for any more projects Phil

A little slow on this one. A prime candidate to relocate to the small island (have to encourage Chivs to blow the cobwebs out of his wallet).
Did anyone buy this ? Auction ended $2551.00.

Chivs... Some valid points you make. I was merely trying to encourage you to line up your next project. It seems you have a choice between joining the Hydro set with beard and bluey, the crazy skiff driver set (clothing optional) or the old school captain pugwash set which you may already be a life member. Your next move is widely anticipated.

Painting and school holidays don't mix. Will be there all next week...drop in.

Thanks Alan...no room for shelving....need new garage.
