Re: Hammond
I draged that boat back to Adelaide 10 years ago for a friend of mine and he paid 3500 for it then. The boat was in good condition and needed two king planks, it had a grey marine v8 with a gear box , i kept the motor and box out of it in the deal as he wanted to put a tuff 351 in it. He did nothing with the boat and sold it about 2 years ago to a friend for $10.000 and he bought a new 350 to put in it.He didnt have it long when he run out of money and he put it up for sale for $12.000. The boat was built for the water sking champion ships on the Yarra in 1962 but was not used so it was sold to the chap i got if off and he used it as a ski boat. The boat was 17.5 foot long with a big rear seating space it even had the instruments with the Hammond name on it.
