trailer and some parts

A while ago I posted a boat for sale that had been listed on Gumtree.
It was supposed to be a lewis, it was fitted with a 283 Chev.
The boat was fairly all there although needed a reasonable amount of work the bottom half of the transon had rotted away and been removed. It also had had the stempost ripped out of the boat where he had tried to winch the boat onto the trailer!!!.
If no one bought the boat he was planning on wrecking it and selling some of the bits.
No one bought it. I was interested as he wanted about $1000 for it and the engine was worth that. I knew that if I bought another thing home I would be camping on someones couch for a while so left it. I also didn't have any where to store it for the future.

well, he did strip and wreck the boat and he is now selling what is left.
He has the trailer, cavplate and steering Quadrant and pulleys, Prop and shaft and Ski pole. He wants $500 for the lot. Trailer is not registered.
I remember that someone here was after a trailer so if that person contacts me I can go and have a look and report back. I really only want the Skipole and mounts

Yes that is the item.

Sadly he cut the boat up for firewood!!!!
He sold the engine and seats as separate items cause no one wanted the boat after he stuffed it and didn't seem to have the forethought that the repairs would not have been that difficult given that he had the old parts as a template.

We have all seen more damaged boats repaired/restored.
