A Tasmanian experience
Re: A Tasmanian experience
That's a bugger Chivs. Better you found it onshore rather on water!
Re: A Tasmanian experience
Yes mate, where I was to meet the pigeon was about an hours drive so glad it happened prior to leaving!!
Re: A Tasmanian experience
Bad and good luck, having a breakage like that can be real nasty on the water.
Obviously that motor of yours is way too hot

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Ahoy all!! I can happily and more importantly report my first water trial/test went surprisingly well!! Original owner/builder Grant Lovell told me he always had trouble getting it on the plane? Must of been the prop? The one I’m using put her straight on the plane no problem. What also surprised me was this is my first wooden boat that doesn’t need a bulge pump, or gave I said too much??

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Times up got to return the borrowed bits to the pigeon but not before one last run, lots of potential with a proper manifold and carby!!

Re: A Tasmanian experience
Ahoy all! Just for info the Hobart wooden boat festival February 2021 has been cancelled! Incredible times I hope everyone is looking after themselves and hopefully get through it sooner rather than later. Big shout out to my Victorian friends who are doing tougher than the rest of us, all the best Chivs
