From the picks shown it looks like this could have been a rear engine Hull. Bit hard for me to tell. Eddy built several early rear engine racers .Any one know more about this boat ?

Graeme, I'm curious as to what makes you think it could be a rearmount. Is it the lack of a deck beam behind the motor?

I know nothing of this boat - didn't know of it until it popped up for sale.

The only rearmount Eddy's I know of are Hoodoo, which I believe no longer exists, and Nova, which is still kicking around.

Carnt tell the length. But it does resemble the shape and deck design of the later f/g hulls he made

Photos can be deceptive however I thought the Deck looks a little longer than a normal Runabout , they were normally squared off behind the front seats. The Transom also appears to be flatter , wider and not as deep as the ski boats of the time , it also appears to have had two exhaust ports at some period .
Having said this the Boat may have had deck changes made during it,s life to give me the wrong idea.

I'm wondering whether this is a Jack Eddy or Jack Newcombe hull. Newcombe hulls have the double eyebrow across the top of the transom. Just a suggestion.
