Yep, we made it home as well, great week end. Picked a spare garage in some town on the way home and poked a yellow boat in it hope the owner doesn't mind.
So Ray, do you need a trailer to pick up something?
Tyres may not like you Dave but the camera does

Nah Alan, the phrase "RUST BUCKET" would be the most appropriate description! Although "restorers delight" was used.

Now that we are home and have better upload speed here are some more photos.

Re: Narrandera 2014
Thanks everyone for making it another really great weekend. Not even a bit of mongrel weather stopped us this year (but has it ever?).
Naturally, Monday was the pick of the days with mid 20's, sunshine, little wind and flat water.
Nick, just to prove it was there and going, one for you.

Another great weekend guys. Like catching up with everyone and seeing the 'new' boats. Back in Melbourne tonight after coming home via Paynesville. Thanks Greg for all the hard work & being our President for 10 years. Bob. Our club wouldn't be what it is today without your passion & commitment.

Thanks Greg

The Skiff, Rude is ready for action again. Replaced the noisy & slow (stuffed) Hi Torque gear reduction starter with a good ole standard Delco starter motor. Using the same battery that was in it last weekend, without anymore charge, spun the 350 over with ease and fired up.
Re: Narrandera 2014
Hi Guys
After the two days at Narandera I have sent my spare set of gearbox shafts to Philip Haynes to get a taller set of gears. The engine was pulling 7200 (tacho memory) and the GPS was indicating 167 kph (peak speed memory). Too many revs and not enough speed.
The engine was hitting its maximum revs really quickly and then everything else was catching up a bit which might be an indication that the engine is overpowering the gearbox and prop setup, so I've decided to load it up a bit more. Basically the engine was pulling maximum revs for the entire length of the straight.
