Apparently it was a dud. They are brilliantly quick as radio contoll models, but that doesnt translate to full size.

Dave you are right. This is the beefed up one piece quill they make for racing. The amazing thing is I just stumbled on it.

The designation KT comes from the US and relates to the APBA code for race boats. The K is used for unlimited engines (you will no doubt have seen the 'K boats' which are blown big blocks) and I assume the T is for tunnel hulls. I can't say that I've ever seen it written but this has been my understanding of the KT designation. Let me know if I'm off the mark.
