PAXTON Supercharger

Postby Damo » 22 Feb 2014, 09:22

Hey Guys! I am cleaning out some stuff from the shed and am going to get rid of my Paxton. This was going to be used on my boat but as some of you know I have gone with a sprintex instead . This has had all new bearings and balls replaced and is like new. This would look awesome on a woody as its period correct for the 60's - 70's era. I thought I would see if anyone wants it in the club before I post it on Gumtree, Im looking for $1000 ono as these are just not around any more let alone in this condition. Being in WA I will crate up this securely for transport if someone wants it, Cheers

G'day Fella's , sorry about the late reply as my daughter had her school ball last night and I spent all day bloody washing and polishing cars!!!!

Paul, With regards to mounting this on a 5.7 I think you would be better of with the newer type Vortech,These were designed and mounted on engines up to and around 327ci mainly on Ford Cobra's/Mustangs , Dodge Dusters/Darts ( Mr Norms ) and Studebakers.

Dave, Yes you are correct this is indeed a SN60 built somewhere in the early seventies, if you are interested and have a smart phone I can take a quick vid of it being bench tested! Sounds pretty cool! 8-)

I used to work in a panel shop years ago. The was a 64 stude two door cruiser with a fiberglass front on it.
It had one of these blowers on it. This was 30 years ago. Ive never seen it again.
