Powerboat name registration?

I registered my 16' Crackerbox last year to avoid any anti pollution rules that are yet to be invented and documented the name I want to use with Vic Roads. I've been married to a redhead for 51 years and opted to call it Testa Rossa (Italian for readhead) rather than Jennifer Kaye.

Does anyone know if there is any official body that monitors boat names to prevent duplications? I located what appears to be a " big vessel " register for Australia, but nothing that seems to cater for powerboats

Never heard of such a register or database. Wish there was one 'cos there are way too many boats called Rhonda!

Wow...clip, we have a club member with a boat called "Rhonda"
I believe he only called it "Rhonda" because "Gialla" was taken
