Thanks Tommo - I'd love to put one of those tiny working V8's in it, but at US$10k for normally aspirated and US$18k for the blown version I'm afraid I'll be sticking to the simplest and most reliable powerplant - electric

have you checked out these little donks Hookster, Bit pricy to get the motor but those 200 mah batterys are 80$ each not to mention the charger,go like the blazzes with a expansion chamber. cheers pete.

hey Tommo I'd put one of those in a balls to the wall model race boat (scale hydro?) but this current project is really for showing orf in a gentlemanly fashion (a first for me I can tell ya - not the showing off bit, the other bit :P :lol: ) I'm already equipped with the batteries, radios etc due to a flirt with flying R/C foamies. All this stuff is so damn cheap now

Yeah Well Jon, that makes sense, If you have got all the gear Mate, Full steam ahead as they say.

I rekon it will grab a fair bit of attention once on the water.
