S.A transport?

Postby nool » 27 Feb 2012, 07:29

Hi Guys,
Just thought I'd check on the off chance that any of you S.A. boys might be making a road trip to either Sydney or Melbourne sometime in the next few months and can spare a bit of space. I've got a radiator in Adelaide heading back to Sydney. Ordinarily I'd wait for Narrandera but I'm hoping to have it in my car for Narrandera 2012.
Cheers!
Neil.

Neil
There's a couple of us going to Goolwa from Melbourne in April. If one on the Adelaide boys can get it to us, we can get it to Melbourne.

Neil. I dont a courier would be that expensive for an alloy radiator. It could probably be posted.

Ok, i'll check. It's not alloy. It's pretty big and heavy. I'll look into it a bit closer and get back to you. Cheers!

Gday Nool
I have a greyhound bus terminal near me in Adelaide.
I have done cargo with them before at very reasonable rates.
Where in Adelaide is your radiator?
Is it packaged, or stand alone?
Can you pick up from a greyhound terminal at your end?

http://www.greyhoundfreight.com.au/

Let me know if you like this option, I sure we can help out.

Cheers
Jeff

Hi All,
Thanks for the tips.
The greyhound thing was going to be about $100 and the package looks too big for Australia Post but I found another site with some good prices...
http://www.interparcel.com.au
Looks like I should be able to get it here for about $50. Better than I thought.
Cheers!

Neil

Neil, I have used a company where you can only book on the web www.e-go.com.au
Their rates, especially depot to depot are exceptionally good. I freighted a large band saw from Sydney to Melbourne and was very happy with their rate and their service. If you want to get a rate just go to their web site.
