Dog clutch for 350 small block chev

Postby Chivs » 19 Jan 2012, 19:03

Ahoy there!

After receiving some timely advice I am now searching for a dog clutch to suit a small block 350 Chevrolet. I missed out on one on e bay recently that went for $300. I am aware Cassell Marine are selling new ones for $764, which I am thinking about?

Thanks from Chris, cheers.

Oi Brian! What ya doing, setting me up? If I say yes and you say no what next, go back to Dave D suggestion and keep it simple as a direct drive.

Mate as I say I am seriously thinking of getting the new one, just thought I would put it out there to see if any one wanted to part with a bargain for me!

Thanks for the reply, shame you couldn't make Yarrawonga, just as well I didn't as well otherwise it would of been two - nil my favor, hope to catch up with you later in the year?

The works, but its Holden. He had a shed fire and it burnt the top of the boat.

760 seems cheap. The last time i looked i thought they were 1350. Just buy the new one.

Bit quiet on the board so I thought I might plug Cassell Marine! Took the good advice offered and ordered the dog clutch Thursday and it arrived today with my bonus tee shirt and key ring! Not bad service.

Thanks Dave, a question then, I paid as quoted $98 or so postage but on the box it was $32 or so posted from Riverside (or similar) post office, would they have to travel far to send it? I was thinking of querying it, $60 bucks is 60 bucks!
