Wanted Ford ute

Postby hookster » 19 Aug 2011, 10:13

I know this is not boat related, but I am after a Ford ute, preferably on gas, AU or BA, 3 seater, and preferably white but will consider silver, up to 220 000km or thereabouts, and up to around $6000. I know that sounds pretty specific, but that's what I am after. I have no drama travelling as far as Queensland or SA for the right vehicle. So if you know of one, contact me on 0418584448, thanks, Jon.

Mate if you have some time I'll tel you all my ford stories.
I have owned an el for a few years now. I have replaced everything on it. Some things two and three times. I'm on my second engine and tranny.
They are crap. Everyone I know that had one with a few kms on them reckon the same.

I guess my EB falcon with 450000 Km running original everything must be the exception that proves the rule? A falcon on gas is a great thing and if you do have to fix anything it cost bugger all. Don't get me started on my wife's Volvo.

Nick I'll give you $6000 for your EB then, or $600 for your wife's Volvo, and Bauchy I'll give you $60 for your BF

Haha. Can't resist... The only reason I bought the 64 falcon wagon was coz I knew I was going to replace the entire driveline with Toyota stuff!

Alright everyone thanks ever so much for your assistance, I have found a ute, it's in Adelaide and I'll be flying over wednesday to get it then hightailing it straight home (vai Balranald auto-elec). Obviously I am going to have to ditch the powerplant, so I'm thinking maybe a 20B triple rotor mated to a powerglide, straight through 4" exhaust, 4500 stall. Should be ideal for my line of work.
