G'day Shifty

Pretty rare stuff, that, although it does occasionally turn up.

Have you sussed out anyone in the Seacraft/Syndicate club?

Hi Greg, yeah I'm in the club just thought I'd try here, you never know what people might have lying around! Original stuff is becoming pretty hard to Find, I'd love to find another boat hidden away in a shed somewhere!

Those shed boats are still out there. It still amazes us what turns up.

A little over a year ago I was offered a 1962 148 that was absolutely original except for the 186 and in great condition for its age. The boat had been pushed down the back of a shed for nearly 20 years. It was a done deal until the kids found out dad was selling the boat. After a wasp nest was cleaned out of the carby and a plug and oil change, the boat is back on the water to the delight of both kids and grandkids.

A good news story in the end with the boat still with the family and back on the water.

Greg
