I used one on Atomic. Im pretty sure I have another. Ill have a look tommorrow. They are pretty easy to get. BB Chev is the same also. Ive seen plenty on ebay. There was a V drive gearbox with everything (belhousing coupling etc) on ebay last week. The last time I looked it was at $560. Not sure what it ended at. Dave

By coincidence the quote from the fellow in Adelaide came back yesterday (Monday). Bottom line is $601.80 incl GST per set. I'm assured that they are the same as Turbo Fire but I've not seen a pic from the supplier to confirm this as yet. I also understand that Skiffo does the plating.

Below is the email with pricing. Let's see how this compares with Dave's price and then take it from there. Count me in for one set.

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you - I have been trying to work out the best pricing I can. Costs have gone up - both for castings and chroming but if you order 8 -10 sets I can offer you a price of $601.80 per set including GST. This is a little less than the price offered last year.

I would like to emphasise that are castings are Admiralty Gunmetal - a high quality marine grade bronze, we also use high nickel content chroming for the best finish. AS we all know when it comes to marine equipment you do get what you pay for.

The price I got quoted is $275 but that is a rough casting. They will still need to be finished off and chromed. The material is manganese Bronze.
