60's Cav Plate Adjuster

Sadly I busted the starboard side cav plate adjuster at the nationals at Narrandera. While I'm having a repair done so that I can run at Yarrawonga, I am looking for a replacement adjuster. If you don't ask you'll never know!

If anyone has one or a pair for sale please email me at bobcarter@connexionpr.com.au or call me on 0418 101 626.

Thanks, Bob

Similar adjusters were made up for Stormy years ago (mid 90's) by Kincaid Marine out at Somerton. Maybe they will still do them.

Thanks for the info Greg. I actually fired off an email to Rob at Kincaids this afternoon. Now that I know theymade up the set for Stormy (& they look great) I'll send him your pic and see if they can do another set. This has to be heaps stronger than the old casting design.

Thanks again,

Bob

Sadly no joy at Kincaids. I've had the busted adjuster repaired so we'll get by okay for Yarrawonga. The bigger plan is to fabricate a new pair of adjusters from stainless just as Greg has on Stormy. To ensure perfect fit I'll make up a jig which replicates the cav plate and transom with all the holes in the right places so that Pete the engineer can do his thing with confidence and accuracy.
