Windscreen frames

Postby piquet95971 » 06 Mar 2014, 07:04

Are there any leads as to where I might locate some windscreen frame brackets. Our project would appear to have not had one but I would like to fit one,

All leads appreciated
Cheers
Peter

I haven't forgotten to call you but I've been a bit distracted. My wife is not real flash and have been a thinking of other things not the windscreen frames. Will ring in next couple of days.

No longer required. Visited Leigh in his man cave and came home with brackets, Perspex and a new window seal.
Thanks Leigh

Peter,
When fitting Screen , use large washes under deck [ size of a 50c piece]. Fitting white rubber seal between deck and screen, cut with a razor blade . If you use scissors the blades will roll the rubber as you cut , ending up with curve. Because the screen leans out from the bottom ,the rudder leans out as well. It's a good idea to run clear silicon sealant along perspex edge to secure in the rubber channel. Do not use black or colour sealant , it will show up with white rubber seal plus in certain lights transmit through perspex screen.
It was good to catch up. Doc.
