ford Y block dip stick

The whacko that owned this engine before me did a couple of strange things.
The strangest would be to seal the dipstick off at the top of the tube with some insulation tape wrapped around the dipstick itself.!!!!
Now I dont know if the stick is the correct length, lets just assume that it is but I need the flange thing that goes on the top of the dipstick to seal the tube or a camplete dipstick.

I will see what I can find else where as I have a couple of Holden ones and the sealing flange might just fit.
Just casting out a feeler to see if anyone knows the correct length and if I cant find the flange seal thenif there are any around

Just measured a couple, one motor was from a truck (292) the other is F100 (272), both dip sticks measure up the same.
bottom to low oil mark 14mm
bottom to mid oil mark in hatching 31mm
bottom to full oil mark 35mm
bottom to shoulder that holds the cup below it 535mm
