Ive got a mate hunting a dog clutch for a flathead ford v8. I know where there is one but i doubt it can be bought. Anyone else out there. Dave 0413766501

Dave,

Currently have three marine kits for flathead engines and all are direct drive thrust bearing mounts, thought the flathead may have been pre dog box! Good to know such a thing exists and will keep an eye out (no I don't want one)!

Interesting topic you raise Skiffo - what things did the X throw away that you now wish you still had.

I had a ripper ladder - big long extending aluminium thing that I left behind to get another day. It was seriously big & frightening at the top. Anyway, the X sold it and I still think about that bloody ladder when I can't get up high enough! I refuse on principal to buy another one too.

I hope i dont end up with an x. The only solution to get rid of my stuff would be a skip bin.
I still cant believe she puts up with it all.

Are you sure you want to drive it back to sydney. Maybe i can supply you a couple of tyres and a water pump.
