Ross - although I have not used them there is a specialist screw joint in Melbourne (leave it alone Hookster) called ScrewItScrews. Phone is 1300 551 810, web is www.screwitscrews.com.au and they have an online store for those of us who can't be bothered driving all over town for stuff.

Doc - you're officially buggered.

Bob

Well Doc, I was thinking a specialist screw would be a lot more than $50, but I was just wondering if you can claim it on medicare as therapy? At least if you get it done the way you like, there will be a happy ending :D

Good luck with the op Doc!
I still think I may have one is stock from an old crank.
But my ballistic filing system as adopted in my shed, sometimes requires a little analytical input to archive a favorable outcome for all stakeholders......yep I can't find it cos I chucked it in a big box somewhere

Thanks for that Darren,
Surely it would be in one of your "leftover" boxes.
Doc.
