Style?
Re: Style?
Nice one dave! With my expertise I can catergoriaclly say its not a Lewis or a Everingham, perhaps a Chivers, Levett or a Ray, except if it was a Ray it would be yellow!
Re: Style?
They say you can find anything on ebay. That is one beautiful creation. Definitely an early Chivers. Anyone want to go halves in it with me?
Re: Style?
Hookster, would you consider, maybe, an early Chivas (you know, the "real" whisky).

Re: Style?
Hmm, almost look like sponsons on the front, you sure it's not an early converted Hydrofishingboatplane?
Re: Style?
Can you drink that with Coke Greg?
I know the boatplane you mean Alan, I think they get up to a certain speed, then leave the water like a graceful swan, and fly along floating on ground effect. This little beast aint one of them. I'm still tempted to go halvies with someone though, it could be the club mascot vessel, imagine that thing taking pride of place at the head of the Yarra Cruise, painted flat black, with "CAWPBA.COM" in huge white letters along the sides

Re: Style?
Sorry Ross! Would you consider an offer to keep it in the club, although I note it is fiberglassed which causes a bit of an issue for club meetings? Hookster I tried to bring back the fan boat, should of got that, it was cheaper and all wood!
No doubt Ross you could safely fit you and Bob and all your bloody grand kids for a day on the river, or is that why you are selling it

Re: Style?
