Its got a Lewis bow piece. Cant see much else in any sort of detail.

does anyone know anything about this boat? i bought it but id like to find out what type of hull it is for sure, thanks, Glenn

Firstly, welcome to the Board Glenn.

Not sure about this one, but I'll chuck in a comment or two.

The flattening off of the stem towards the top of the bow indicates an Everingham, but the bow plate is not typical (from memory). The bow piece could have been put on later, but the stem would be original.

Clenched nails, particularly on the upper planks might indicate an Everingham, as do the raised timber pieces around the cockpit.

I agree with Greg and would add that if its closer to 15ft than 16ft, that would also indicate Everingham as that was a popular length for that style.

The photes show the motor up close to the deck, must be shelow like one or two planks to normal.

thanks for the welcome guys, and thanks for the info too, i read some info on here last week saying all everinghams had an angled transom? i havent had much to do with old timber boats but now ive started its easy to get hooked.
