When we get to Nerrandera this year Ray I think we'll be told to sit down on the mat, cross legged, and listen to a lecture on wooden boat identification. Currently I can tell whether a boat has weatherboards, or if not, then it's a butterbox.

Heres a couple of points.
- where the keel comes up to the front of the bow, it squares off for the last 12" to 15" so the bow isn't a point but flat.
- the matching "Everingham" bow handle is on the table. They hang over the front of the bow and match the flat section.
- the transom rakes in from top to bottom as you look at it from the side.

Thanks Dave, i'm sure if i see them side by side the differences will be obvious but till then i'm a bit with Hookster. Will we get a test at Nerrandra? What if i fail, no elephant stamps? What if someone throws in a Simpkin or Eddy, don't think i can sleep now!

I'd be stumped on others but I have an Everingham which probably makes them easier.
You're right though, when you see them side by side each have their different traits.
