Hi all, there is a plywood speed boat for sale in Yarrawonga which I was going to buy, but my Lewis(?) came up first. The boat is in pretty good condition from when I saw it a couple of weeks ago, but I will be looking at it again tomorrow and will get some more photos to post. It has a heap of brass fittings, brass trim plate, steering gear etc and looks good. It has a Holden 253 and dog clutch. The asking price is $4500, probably negotiable. Anyway, stay tuned for some photos tomorrow. Cheers, Jon.

Here are a few photos of this boat, I have more if anyone wants them I'll email them to you. The motor looks very tidy and oil leak free. The hull will need to be sanded back and redone at some stage, but the ply all looks sound. I'll put the guy's name on here later who is handling the sale of the boat.

The duke is an 800 sport, trouble is that it doesn't take up much room in the shed and another boat would. It would be nice to have a twin cockpit boat thought. Time for a shed extension!

haha yeh boats are way to big, as you said you may need to modify your shed. you should try build a boat in a single garage :P

The real problem isn't the size of the shed, its my wife's car- why she won't leave it out so I can have more toys I don't know
