18' rearmount Lewis
351 Clevo
1956 (but I doubt it)

I thinks this one used to be called "BAGS"

It's in the listings on this page: https://www.facebook.com/search/str/tim ... arketplace

You would be correct to doubt the year and rear engined boats in the fifties is questionable also.
Lewis did not believe in rear engined boats even in the middle 1960,s when Everinghams started to win in this style , they still built big Skiffs like Ronda Babe.

I think it is quite simple really, just a mild case of dyslexia should be 1965

Lewis Skiff-abouts were more in the size of 16 to 17 feet in 1965. The larger 18 feet hulls I recall came around 1970 and were Fibre glass bottoms with either wooden or glass decks and then were all glass so believe it would be closer to 1970 than 1955.

1970’s for me, if it originally was a rear mount. I have an Everingham rear mount from about the same era as Jayme 11.
Its about 16ft 10in. Little too high in the transom maybe to be the converted skiff.

Just thinking about the "Happy Hooker". A 19' rearmount, supposedly built in 1966.

Always thought Happy Hooker was a Holley Craft , the memory is not always as good as it once was.
