Holden Grey Motor Distributor

Postby Renojet » 25 Jul 2018, 16:59

A friend of mine, David Andrews who has helped me with The Jet. His business is Vintage Racing Developments and contacted me with his latest invention for anyone with a Holden Grey Motor.
This distributor uses a 3 lobe points cam and two sets of completely electrically independent points, condensers, coils. Distributor firing order alternates between each independent circuit so dwell is in the region of 58 degrees (as good as a 4 cylinder engine) and engine firing order likewise alternates so very good high RPM spark strength and yet still "period" technology.
