Hey Dave,
That cav plate, did you notice skeg bolts! Skeg is bolted to Cav plate.

Ces knows what he is doing. He apharently won the ski race championship with this boat.
Ces is one of the great Australian boat builders. I recently worked with him on a 48ft yacht he restored over the past two years. He built this boat back in the 70's. He built several of the great racing yachts including Ragamuffin and Salacia II (the one he just restored). He also built several boats for the Navy.
He built one Hydroplane "L For Leather (Tiger)".
