One for the hydro men

Postby Greg » 24 Nov 2013, 06:52

1959 Grand Prix hydro

Note that this boat is in the USA. I'm waiting for some more info to come in on it.

Why would he advertise it here. Its worth that money over there. Nobody will pay that here.
If anyone wants a vintage gp I know where two might be available.

Dave , I think it's a different person , what crackerbox?

I reckon I could find room for this thing somewhere, I could park it out on the street next to my swag which is where I would be living !

This guy called me Saturday morning... he says the boat is in the US and the owner would like to see it finish up in Australia. I'm with Dave on this - I would be very surprised if anyone here would stump up that kind of money for this boat. Very nice boat but... a lot of money and where would you get to run a vintage US hydro in Australia? There are virtually zero events.

Something isnt right. The person marketing the cracker box said he wanted it to go to australia then this guy says the same thing. Too coincidental.

Maybe this guy has seen what we pay for American cars out here and thought he would try with a speedboat!
