Those Tawco manifolds have "suit Corvette" on them, thats my guess where the "Corvette motor" tag came from. I have a pair hanging my shed that were on the "Corvette" 307 in Jayme II. Block & head casting numbers would be a guide to what it really came ot of.

Hi Dave,
Don't be fooled with Corvette lettering on manifold. Wooden patterns(female casting) - you could ad any script ,letters with fine pins were tapped in to the female W-pattern. Look for casting on heads one pyramid on a base are usually Power Pack heads off a Vette motor 283 or327 for the period. 2 Humps are fuellie heads. I notice on the ad. "good for parts" could be up 60 thou ,which is MAX . nowhere to go.
Doc.

No where to go except for resleeving back to standard bore. This can be done for a reasonable cost these days.

Hi Doc, thats what I was trying to say, the manifolds having Corvette on them means nothing really except that they fit a small block chev. As you said the casting numbers and shapes and the engine number would also help.
