Hi All, What a good find, love the blue & white paint job. Yes it is a Botterill, built using Cold moulding method. Most of the Botterill hulls were built in clinker during the 60's, with copper nails and rivits. As epoxy glue developed this allowed hulls to be made over a frame or full mould using thin cut veneers laid at 45 degrees to 90 over each other and glued together without the use of heat. This made a light strong hull and also allowed custom shapes and designs to be built quickly to order. This stye was all the go in the early 70's. This is why its called cold mouldi
ng. Perfect boat for the Hookster in the Mullet.

Talk soon Scott

Hey, Well hooks, the old man would say, without even thinking about his answer, and much i wish he would say otherwise... why did you buy that bloddy thing, all you'll do is work on it, so burn it!!!

What a bloddy shame. I do hope it finds a loyal home.
