Anybody know the history of this?

It's an Ed Karlson (USA) design. I don't think it was ever completely finished (trailer's unpainted etc)
It's in great condition and they're bloody fast boats!

There's a video around of it at Taree from 2004-ish (i think??) that's super impressive... BIG rooster tail...

According to the NSW Hydroplane Club site this boat has won the Sydney Bridge to Bridge twice and is the current record holder

It did break the bridge record with rick howard at the wheel.
The boat is bloody fast.
The current bridge record is held by hyperactive also driven by rick 29 minutes something
