Re: GLEN L
Well done mate, still building work benches and stuff, have had a cursory look and like what im seeing. The overall dimentions are almost identical to Scrubcat. The previous owner was jn love with sikkaflex! Cheers mate.
Re: GLEN L
cheers mate, sick of the clinker trying to eject me into the wet stuff so time for an update. i was going to build the boat ive already cut templates out for etc but this one looks easier. it should go well with all my running gear in it.
that skiff will be a good boat with some work and allot cheaper then buying one already rebuilt. it was a sad drive home that arvo when i relised i actually sold the skiff and probably wont find another one. nothing like reality but im sick of fixing old stuff so time for a new one.
ill ring when im in melbourne again and drop past for a beer or two

Re: GLEN L
Mate that Glen l with your running gear will fly, look forward to seeing the end product. Anytime your in the area there will be a coldie waiting. The skiff has sikaflex in between every plank, its very neatly done but will be a nightmare to stip back. The uneven lines up near the bow appear to be a combination of sikaflex and fibreglass, wont know until i strip it back but not too worried about it. Unless something else turns up, power will come from the y block i have here so it wont be overly quick but should sound great and the running gear will suit the boats age......i'm a ford man after all.....maybe a 289/302 windsor? cheers Ray
