Scott,
It should be named (actual builder) and dated on the centre deck beam underneath just behind the dash.
Its looking good

Hey All, Went and picked myself up a great 1966 Mercury 50Hp 4 cylinder 2 stroke in original condition for the Little Seacraft I'm restoring. It's in good condition for its age and fits the application just right. Also included in the deal was this old timber hydro "Huckleberry". I'm told it was built in the mid '50s in Australia off some American plans. Anyone know anything about it?

Geez Scottie what a find! How did you come by this gem? I know a few guys in the Outboard Racing Club of Vic so will ask around and see what they know. I reckon I saw a boat like this poking out of a shed at Paynesville about 2 years ago. I've since looked for it many times but have not seen it. Could this be the one?

Thanks guys, Looks like I'll have to make room up on the landcruiser roof racks for the little hydro to grt wet at Narrandera this year? I've never set foot in one of these boats before so we may need to find a test pilot..

Scott
