some progress

have just bought some ply for the decks of my two projects.
Went to Amerid timber supply's in Dandenong on Thursday to get some ply, only to find that they don't carry it in different timber finishes. All they had was a pack of "imported" ply, 200 sheets, they let me go though the pack to select and match grain and color . After going through the 200 sheets I did get what i was looking for. Both boats will be different in grain and color. This is 6mm ply and is the same as the boat had.
Cost for 7 sheets- one had some damage 1200 x 2400 = $330, I thought that this was not a bad price.
Now tucked away in the wall of the shed until I get time, As I'm back working in Melbourne again to help out for a few weeks.
