Best thing to carry with you is an old old car tyre, and pull the boat up on it when parking.
Saves bottom of boat all the time and tyre holds boat well.
No excuses now !!!!!!

Hi Guys,
I am located in Malmsbury. I Didn't go with the $380 bearings. New stub Axel stubs at $40, New ford pattern hubs an Bearings for $70 and a day in the shed welding and grinding (priceless) and the job should be right. Gutted though that I couldn't get out this weekend because of it. Spent Friday night camped at Lake Learmonth caravan park whilst attending the Ballarat Swap meet. Great place! The lake is near full and boats are back. $16 for a site and $15 for a meal at the Stag Hotel, I think it would be a great place for a weekends boating.

Most of the Easter boating was great. Had a lovely time cruising at Lake charm with Dave and his seacraft, stopped at Cairn Curran on the way back for more cruising on a fantastic lake on a fantastic day and then, heading into the boat ramp the jet sucked a fist sized rock up of the bottom which destroyed the impeller in a second  .......... so......... does anyone have any idea of where I might go about finding parts for a 1963 Marine Engine Company of Melbourne Jet?
Hoping for a miracle

If no luck with jet parts would not be a big job to convert it to mid mount or look for a later jet unit, they must be around.
