A member is looking for someone with some expertise on Dodge Kew (6 cylinder side valve) motors. He has a motor that is believed to be complete and in good order, but needs some reassembly.
Can anybody recommend someone or a company in Melbourne?

Re: Engine help
Fairly sure that I have a manual for that type of engine here somewhere as I have a vintage truck from 1929 that has that type of engine in it. They were fairly similar from late 20's until mid/late 40's the only thing that really changed was that they went from poured white metal bearings for the big ends to shells.
If I remember when I rebuilt mine it was not any harder than a holden red motor to assemble just a bit bigger and much heavier.
I will have a look
cheers
