Timber publication

In my research I recently stumbled across this great publication on the net.
As I lack a lot of experience with timber, I have been struggling to work out the best option for replacement planks.
This publication is fantastic for me as it explains a lot about strengths and weaknesses of timbers for various applications in boat building. It also includes requrements of materials for Australian Standards incl, weights, elasticity, durability, galvanic scale for metals used, chemicals/adhesives, rot, preservation, and so on.
