Hi all,
Am trying to identify a boat that I've come across.
Its ply with wood ribs etc..
approx 5-6 Mtrs in length, with a 307 chev.
I've been told it could be a ski hi hull(Len hedges).
Would like to know your opinions.
Included some pics can take more if needed.
Thanks in advance,
Ewan

Hi Ewan

Im no expert on these boats but have researched quite a bit in the last few months.
Looks like a Ski Hi to me but the chine lines seem different to most Ski Hi boats - could be just the way it was built
Check out Viteau in the readers boat section of this site its a 'perfect' example.
Also there is a bare hull on Gumtree with photo of the internal structure which may be helpful for comparison

Is Ruff n Ready for sale?

Pretty sure it's a Ski Hi, same as wooden Worry, deck seems a little more curved. Double chine was the same. Great boat but i found mine to be a bit of a hard ride with the turning circle of the queen mary......but i think that was just my boat

Hi Will,
It looks like a combo of both.
The internal structure of the hull is the same as the hull on gumtree, but the gumtree transome chine lines arnt as round.
Where as Viteau has almost identical transom chine lines, but doesn't have what looks to be timber quad where sides meet the bottom of boat.
I'll take some clearer pics.
Thanks for info mate.
I'd probably part with her but would like to try and find more about her first.
Thanks
Ewan
