Does this scene looked familiar Ray??? Another day at the lake, another tow, for some reason my v8 woody used a lot less fuel than the plastic 6's    Good news though, eventually traced the issue to a kinked fuel line and all went pretty well after that. Fine tuning needed but the boat was going quite a bit harder than Suffrajet ever did. To scared to scared to look at the oil yet, but a jolly fine day out with some great people.

Hi Ross,
Just found out about the day through the facebook page. Good and bad news about Ressurected, Alan Price had a look at the engine today and it looks like the source of the water in the oil has been found. A crack in the lining of the number 1 cylinder bore  The rest of the motor looks pretty good though so Alan is going to work his magic on it and hopefully it will all be sorted soon. Alan will be pulling the rest of it apart soon so we should have a better picture of how things are in a week or so.
Big thanks to Alan for being patient and sharing his knowledge with me and deep apologies that he missed the start of the GP because of it. Not a day for complete joy though as he showed me some pictures of Comanche's demise. What a great tragedy!
