Damo I have a set at home, I'll get them out early next week when I get back from being away. Don't know if they will be suitable but it will give you an idea of what's about. The other alternative is to go 'commando' so to speak and don't have a windscreen 8-) :P Cheers mate, keep up with the multi-tasking in that shed of yours :D :D :D Pleased to hear you have liberated another Capri onto our roads too by the way!

Hey Jon, Thanks for the help as i have looked around and there doesn't seem to be anything over here in west oz. As I mentioned if worst comes to worst I will make some up out of S/Steel but would like to track down some originals if I can and any help is greatly appreciated. I have 6 coats of varnish on the boat now but have had rain and freezing weather over the past 2 weeks over here so I have been working on the motor instead.I tracked down a stage 3 and a stage 5 yella terra head sitting in a shed which I picked up for a carton of beer 8-) and one just happened to be the low compression version for supercharging :D. The supercharger is now going back together and I am slowly welding up all the plumbing out of 2" 316 S/Steel , its definitely going to be one hot little 202. I have also ordered the steel for the trailer and that is taking shape also but November is looming very quickly :shock: so i better pull my finger out.

"Cheers"

I have a set of windscreen frames that are hopefully being used to make reproductions from, Will try to find out where there at. Are you there Pieter?

Thanks Ray, any help will be fantastic. If I end up fabricating it will be something fairly low with a fair bit of rake to give it a racy sort of look as Im not too stressed about getting wet.

Cheers Damian

Damo can you let me know your mobile number either on here or Private Message me if you're concerned about getting stalked by some of the undesirable members. The set I have I purchased from a guy in Florida so they are not the typical Aussie ones, they are however quite low. It would be easier for me to take photos and text them to you (or one of your kids phones if you are like most of the club members - ie. hopeless when it comes to technology - Tommo are you listening??? Dave P??? :shock: :o )

My mobile # is 0417 865 419 , and for any of the would be stalkers I would love to introduce them to my three lovely docile dogs!! :evil: :evil: :evil: They sound like they should fit the bill nicely mate and look forward to having a gander and a chat, Cheers Mate ;)

Couple of windscreen pictures;

I have only run the old screen once (trying to get my wife to keep driving when it was getting cold), the Perspex is cloudy and blocks vision!
The new screen has been cut from a car windscreen, it needs to be cut in half as it is too long and narrow and I think it will break. need to build a center bracket and narrow the screen by about 50mm also want to put glass in the sides. current brackets are fabricated from aluminum.

Hey Guys, Just another update,

TRAILER: I have started the trailer and as per all your good advice I am building a complete new one and scrapping the old. I bent up the side rails and now have all the steel to complete it just need to find some time. Am trying to find some rounded type mudguards over here in the West but its not looking good :roll: , I either have to go Ebay or go to the flat / angled type.

ENGINE: I picked up all the flanges for the induction side of things and will weld them up once the supercharger is mounted, I picked up the drive pulley and adjustment pulley from the wreckers on the weekend for twenty bills ;) . I am going to mount this in between the dog-box flange and the prop shaft flange so the charger will only be working once engaged. I have two of the three carbs I need so Gumtree is copping a Flogging at the moment :lol: :lol:

BOAT: I have six coats on the sides at the moment and I swear I learn something different every bloody time :o :o :lol: so by the time I put the remaining 4 coats on I should be right :lol: :lol: . I have finally picked the paint scheme and colour so once it stops Bloody raining over here I"ll get a chance to finish the hull and tip it over.
