Hello.
I have been looking at a clinker built speedboat with a Holden red motor. The hull has been repainted and has had a few repairs, the seats have been reupholstered.
A couple of planks have been replaced and there are one or two cracked ribs,
What should I be looking for, not worried about motor.
Would like to find a wooden boat builder or a knowledgeable enthusiast in the Warrnambool area.
Any help advice greatly appreciated.

Re: Buying Advice
I guees it all depends on the price and how much work you want to do. I would be checking for anything that has been covered up. Im not keen on glassed over hulls.
I would also take it for a run to make sure it handles well. There is nothing worse thatn a hull that wont handle. Dave 0413766501
