G'day Maybe some has had to varnish over white Sikaflex used as caulking on the deck about 5mm wide groves, My question is will the Goldspar original varnish stick to the Sikaflex? I rang their tech.line and they didn't seem to know not much help. any thoughts. Brian.

Before your last coat of varnish, tape all your sika lines and paint one or 2 at a time then remove tape. Use white marine enamel and let it air for a while to make it tacky, so it won't run under the tape. When dry apply last coat. ( good books to get hold of How to restore my wooden boat Part 1 & 2 ).
