Geelong

I mentioned this one in the last newsletter. I reckon this should be a pretty good day. They are looking for old ski-boats.

Greg,
I will tow Classique down for this one, hopefully reunite it with a previous owner for the day.

I intend on going too, so it looks like we'll have a few boats there.

Hi Guys, may have to pull out of the Geelong outing. The Worry doesn't have a rudder as we speak, was hoping to have it back this week but so far no sign of it, will keep you posted. cheers Ray

Ray
Don't panic yet - still a while to go. You could always use it as a static display.

As far as the CAWPBA is concerned, attendance at this event is in doubt as the river has been closed due to a severe infestation of blue-green algae.

The event will still happen, but there will not be any "on water" activities. A few of us were still looking to go, even as a static display, but enthusiasm has seemed to have dried up.

Keep watching this thread for any changes.

Unfortunately, due to the situation with the river, we will not be attending this event.
