Let's Go Cruisin' show

Postby Greg » 04 Jan 2012, 15:01

The Let's Go Cruisin car club has invited us to display boats at Williamstown this year. This is a very popular event and our boats were a hit with the members and crowds last year.

Date is Sunday, January 15th, with start time of around 9 am and finish up at around 3 pm.

For those that can't make Yarrawonga, this might be an option for you.

If you can attend, please let me know ASAP - 03 9370 2987 or 0408 937 029

We won't be there Greg, but will still try to make Yarrawonga. It was a great event last time well worth the effort, hopefully some other boats come out.

Greg, I will not make it to any of them as boat will not be going by then , I will be working on it to get it in water as soon as I can to see if it has changed the way it travels on the water, Hopefully it will be worth the work!

Hi Guys, not long back from the Rod and Custom show at Williamstown. As was the case last year, there was plenty of interest in our boats. Mario Bonnici (Hustler), John Galea (River Jewel) and yours truly with Taurus (the only non restored thing at the show) turned up to fly the flag. If talking to the patrons is any indication there are woodies hiding in every back yard and farm in Aus. We may have some people interested in becoming members (you know who you are, start restoring) and i have some leads to follow up regarding boats hidden away. cheers Ray

Hey Ray, they didn't put Taurus near the bin for a reason did they?

Sounds like it was a good day, with perfect weather again.

Thanks for that Greg, you may well be right! It was amazing to see how many people were interested in the way these things are built, Taurus had a lot of attention and no shortage of people asking how much something like it would be worth (missus recons i should have sold it) I think a lot of hot rodders are looking for the ultimate accessory. cheers Ray
